Six women from the core group of the project “Civic Education for Women - Women Kitchen Meetings” used the knowledge they gained from the Kitchen Meeting training sessions to run for the 2013 Municipal elections, of which five won seats on the municipal councils in Taiba Municipality, Der Abu Saeed Municipality in Irbid, Northern Ghoor Municipality in Irbid, Zarqa Municipality and Rusaifa Municipality in Zarqa
