Al-Hayat Center has a vast network of local volunteers who are involved in various stages of project implementation, especially at the local level. Through this, we aim to increase civic engagement while helping our volunteers gain the work experience and skills necessary to improve their career opportunities. Furthermore, our volunteers are given priority in the participation of our mobility activities, through which we partner with other countries to promote youth engagement and education. Volunteers, if they match the requirements of the position, are also given priority in the case of job vacancies. Given this, the majority of Al-Hayat Center’s staff began as volunteers. 

While most of our volunteers are youth, we also encourage people of all backgrounds to join our volunteer network. People with disabilities are encouraged to volunteer and will be provided with all the necessary accommodations. Al-Hayat Center does not provide any financial support to volunteers. However, in some cases a per diem may be allocated to cover transportation, communication, and meal costs.
